Internal Transfer

If you are an Osprey (AHP or MHP) tenant and wish to move to another property owned by us, you can apply for a transfer.

How Are Applications Assessed?

We allocate properties based on housing need and we use a points system to ensure our properties are allocated fairly. The main criteria we give points for are as follows:

  • Overcrowding
  • Under occupation
  • Medical condition affected by your current property
  • Social/Support needs
  • Commuting/travelling difficulties to local amenities

Please note that if you are in rent arrears, owe any other money to Osprey (AHP and MHP) or your tenancy has not been conducted in an acceptable manner, you will not be considered for a transfer until these issues have been resolved.

If you have any supporting documents such as a letter from your doctor, Social Work or Police etc., please provide these with your application.

Once we have assessed your application, we will notify you in writing of the points awarded and your position on the list in the areas of your choice.
