Aberdeenshire Housing Partnership is committed to growth - we exist to provide a range of high quality affordable housing and will work to increase our housing stock and improve and diversify our services through the next five years and beyond.

We are seeking to recruit a number of individuals to our Board of Directors to assists us to meet the aspirations of our tenants. Skills and experience that would be relevant to the role include:

  • management of affordable housing
  • property development
  • business management
  • human resources
  • finance
  • corporate governance

Your contribution to our continuous improvement will ensure that the needs of our tenants are met whilst providing opportunities for your own personal/professional development and demonstration of social responsibility.

This is a voluntary role and Board members are expected to devote around a day per month to the work of the Board. The position is not remunerated however reasonable expenses will be met.

We are constituted as a Company Limited by Guarantee (SC 198586), registered with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (SC 029461) and The Scottish Housing Regulator (previously Communities Scotland) as a Registered Social Landlord (CON312), have a turnover of £1.7m and employ 17 staff.
