May 2011

Glenn Adcook has been appointed as new Housing Services Director for Aberdeenshire Housing Partnership.  Pictured here, Glenn is welcomed to AHP by Colin Hawkins, Chief Executive (left) and Theresa Brailsford, Senior Housing Officer (centre).

Glenn comes back to the sector after spending an extensive period of time in Housing Research and Consultancy with mruk research.  A fully qualified housing professional, Glenn's vast and diverse experience include previous appointments as Director of the Chartered Institute of Housing in Scotland and senior positions in both Local Government and a Registered Social Landlord.

Glenn said:  "AHP is committed to delivering high quality homes and effective services but with a strong desire to continue improving and developing its relationships with local communities right across Aberdeenshire and the north east.  AHP is rightly proud of the fine reputation it has for its landlord services and new housing provision".

He went on to say, "However, I am very excited at the prospect of working with residents, all my new colleagues; the Board and all our partners and, our focus will be on improving the homes and communities in which we work.  We are gearing up for the challenges that lie ahead and I'm delighted to be joining at a time when I can contribute to that".
