Did you know that Whirlpool is recalling some of the tumble dryers sold under its Hotpoint, Indesit, Creda, Swan and Proline brands?

If you think you might have a tumble dryer from one of these brands, you can check whether it needs to be recalled by visiting www.dryerrecall.whirlpool.co.uk or by calling 0800 151 0905.

If your tumble dryer is affected, Whirlpool will either replace it free of charge, upgrade your product, arrange for it be fixed by an engineer or offer a refund. Please note the options available to you will depend on the age of the product.

In the meantime, please unplug and do not use the tumble dryer until Whirlpool has fixed or replaced it.

Please note that appliances under the Whirlpool brand are not affected.

Why it is important to check your product?

The government has estimated the fault affecting these tumble dryers has caused up to 750 fires in the last 11 years. Your safety is a priority to us, we therefore recommend anyone who owns one of the affected products contact Whirlpool today.
